The other day my friend Geoff leant back in his chair, patted his considerable stomach and said 'this is all down to too much stress'. I couldn't help laughing. Ahhhh... the Summertime! Walks on the beach... ice creams... trips to the country... cream teas... a nice refreshing pint of cider... fish and chips on the pier... ... and more inches round the waistline. Well folks, MY waistline at any rate. I never really was a fan of the elasticated waistband, but now I'm beginning to see the advantages. Strange people, those folk from Kent… Seems they like to eat elephant and rhino. Oh, and the occasional bison when they can get their hands on it.
