Is this the weirdest arthritis remedy ever?

13th September 2009

* Is this the strangest arthritis remedy ever?

* How SAND could cure your aches and
complaints

* Or disocver a far more easy and
comfortable way to rub your pain away

I'm going to take you on a magical journey...

If you imagine that scene from The Snowman where
he flies with the little boy.... (it's alright I'll be the fat
snowman and you can be the wondrous child)... then
that's the sort of thing I'm talking about.

I'm flying you over the channel.... down through
France... over Italy... across the Mediterranean Sea...
touching down in North Africa.

We land 700 kilometres northwest of Cairo, not far
from the Libyan border.

You're now standing in a place called the Siwa Oasis
in the El Dakrror mountains,

Now.... have a look around you.
Notice anything weird?

Well, the people in Siwa have long believed that being
buried in the sand during the hottest time of the day is
a powerful remedy for rheumatism, joint pain and
impotency.

Sufferers bury themselves neck-deep in the sand for
20 minutes at a time!

This bizarre natural therapy happens in other places in
North Africa, and has been carried out for many
centuries. And not just Africa...

For instance, you could also travel to the Geomedicine
Centre & Spa in Madeira, Portugal.

There hot sand treatments are the local speciality.
People flock there and PAY to be buried in sand!

I read an article in The Times Online in June 2009, in
which a journalist went there to this spa to try it out.

She ended up buried up to her neck in sand, heated to
about 40 degrees centigrade. The therapist explained
that you do this for 30 minutes twice a day over a
seven day period.

The effects are supposed to take hold after four days
of daily treatment.

So what's this all about?

The secret, say the modern advocates of 'sand
therapy', is in the silica found on the surface of the
sand granules.

So how can you discover some of these amazing
benefits?

Well, I'll explain all - and offer you something a lot
more convenient than being buried alive.

The tale of Norbert's search for silica

Back in 1957 a researcher called Norbert Duffaut got
interested in silicon. His mission was to find a form of
organic silicon that could be easily absorbed by the
body.

This was important, because the body needs silica,
especially as we get older.

As we age, the silica in our bodies runs out, resulting
in wrinkles, dry skin, brittle nails and bones. Silica is
important ingredient in collagen - this is the glue that
you together. It keeps your joints and skin elastic.

So silica is vital for your joint health. It also keeps
you looking a feeling younger. Glowing skin. Hard
nails. Lustrous hair (well, in my case what's left of it!)

Going back to Norbert, then...

Inspired by the North African traditions, he discovered
that on the surface of sand grains, micro-organisms
dissolve silicon using special acids. This in turn
creates a thin layer of amorphous silica.

This stuff is soluble in water, which means it can be
absorbed by the human body. This was a real
breakthrough.

Over the next 30 years, Duffaut developed an organic
silica gel which can be easily absorbed through the
skin. This way you could simply rub it on like a lotion
and let it be absorbed by the skin.

In my view that's a lot more comfortable than burying
yourself in sand.

I mean, when I think of being up to my neck in sand, I
think of the old films about the French Foreign Legion.
You know, where the soldiers get buried in sand as a
punishment? Looks Nasty!

So forget about the sand. If you're interested in trying
a natural source of topical organic silica, take a look at
this:

Artrosilium Gel
Why this is more than just silica

Artrosilium mixes organic silica gel with a plant called
meadow sweet. This is well known for its anti-
inflammatory and pain relieving properties. It also
includes blackcurrant, which has been used to treat
arthritis for centuries.

This stuff gets straight to work on joint pain,
rheumatic problems and skin complaints.

Some people claim to notice results in four or five
days. For others may take a while longer. The
recommended time for the gel to work is up to three
weeks.

In view of this, I'd recommend the below supplier of
Artrosilium. They'll give you 28 days to try the gel on a
totally risk-free basis. If it doesn't work for you, then
you can return the tube and they'll give you a full
refund.

You can order here:

Another strange tale told

So we go from North Africans being buried in the
sand... to a perfectly sane, modern treatment for joint
pain and skin complaints.

Another strange tale from the world of alternative
health!

I'll be back with more soon. In the meantime if you'd
like to try out Artrosilium for 28 days, then you can do
so here:
