15th July 2009
* At last, Green Bay's amazing raw manuka
honey with propolis and bee pollen is here!
* Limited stock first come first served
* Same price as last time but the jars are bigger
|
Loads of people missed out on this offer last time, so you
need to be quick.
Once again I've managed to secure two barrels of the
absolutely RAWEST manuka honey you could ever try.
These two barrels are reserved exclusively for Good Life
Letter readers.
This equates to about 800 jars. Which sounds a lot, but
the last time I secured 500 jars, it sold out within a
weekend
You simply can't get honey this raw and healthy in the
shops - for reasons I'll explain in a moment. Best of all,
Green Bayare offering the honey in larger 450g jars but
have kept the price at the same level as last time.

Why this is unavailable in the shops
The problem with buying any old manuka honey from the
supermarket is that most of it is pasteurised and heated
to over 70 degrees . In some known cases, up to 80
degrees.
This gives those delicate enzymes a hammering and
leaves the honey fairly useless as a natural remedy.
If you want to guarantee that your manuka honey is the
real deal, then you need to know where your honey
comes from and how it has been treated. That's every
step of the way... from the hive to your home.
Why this honey packs a punch
Over the past year I've forged a very close relationship
with THE best producers of manuka honey. Green Bay
are organic certified, single estate producers from New
Zealand.
They don't blend the honey, and don't over heat it. They
always pack their honey at 37 degrees. This is lower than
the Soil Association's guideline temperature of 50ºC and
FAR below the 80ºC of many commercial brands.
The last shipment from New Zealand came to the UK in
February. Now Green Bay is once again offering their
rawest manuka honey to the Good Life Letter.
This honey is untreated. So the natural enzymes,
phytonutrients and higher activity levels are all
conserved.
More importantly, it has been filtered with a coarse
strainer only. This means that the honey retains all that
valuable bee pollen and propolis.
These are powerful little substances you just HAVE to try: |
* Propolis is used by bees to sterilise the hive. This
protects them from the spread of bacteria, viruses and
fungi. It also appears to help stimulate the
human immune system. During both world wars propolis
was used to prevent infection and accelerate recovery
from wounds.
* Bee pollen contains B vitamins for energy, vitamin C for
immune support a wide range of minerals. Research
from the Ukraine suggests that pollen can help ease the
digestive disorders experienced by people with
rheumatoid arthritis.
As well as having all the essential nutrients, enzymes and
other goodies you could want, this honey is really fresh.
Like I say, there are only 800 jars available, and these
will go quick. If you miss out, you'll have to wait for
another shipment later in the year.
