A natural way to reverse this internal damage
27th February 2009
• A natural spray that eases your lower
back pain
• Are you getting enough magnesium?
• How to reverse the damage done to your
lungs over the years
If you've ever felt like a tiny person was standing
on your pelvis and kicking your spine with hobnail
boots...
Then you probably shudder at the words 'LOWER
BACK PAIN'.
You know me, I'm not one to whinge, but back
pain is my special weakness. In the past it has
driven me to distraction... even put me out of
action.
Oh how the kids laugh when they see Dad pasted
to his memory foam mattress at 3 in the afternoon,
ranting insanely about tiny, spinekicking goblins.
How they marvel as he screams in pain just from
bending over to bath the dog. The dog howling,
dad howling, the neighbours banging on the walls.
As a sufferer myself, I've written many emails on
this subject since I began The Good Life Letter.
And I've had plenty of fascinating emails back
from fellow back pain victims too. Together we've
found some good solutions.
One of my most recent recommendations is
something called a Pain Ease Wrap:
Pain Ease Wrap
It uses micro current technology and fits discreetly
round your back. Definitely worth checking out.
But here's something else you might want to try as
well. It's a recommendation from a reader who
emailed me about a severe back pain problem.
|
She'd tried everything... natural remedies,
exercises, walking...
Then she discovered magnesium oil.
She writes:
'I ordered a small spray bottle of the oil. At
bedtime, I spray about a dozen times across my
chest and stomach area and massage it in. As
the oil is absorbed through the skin and carried
round the body by the bloodstream there is no
need particularly to spray the site of the pain.
Personally, I find it easier to massage my front
than my back! '
She had initially rated her pain as a 10. But after a
few nights of this treatment...
'I rated my pain as 8 ... one day later down to 6 ...
a few days later down to 4 and now it is a 2 ... I
still get a twinge when getting up from a chair ...
but certainly not pain ... and I am optimistic that I
will soon be at zero!'
So why did my reader find relief from magnesium?
Well, magnesium is an important mineral. It helps
your bones absorb calcium. It protects your brain
from toxic chemicals and keeps your muscles
healthy and relaxed.
In short, our bodies need this stuff, but most of us
don't get enough these days.
That's because the act of cooking and processing
foods depletes most of the original magnesium.
However, if you eat plenty of whole grains, greens,
nuts and seeds you can easily boost your intake.
And if you have a specific problem, then you can
always try the magnesium oil spray.

Ask about it at your local health food store. Or
stick 'magnesium oil' into a search engine.
I'll look into this for the future and see if I can find
a quality supplier I can recommend.
Okay, now we go from back pain to chest pain...
How to reverse lung damage
I got another encouraging email from a reader last
week. She wrote:
'I bought a salt pipe the last time you
recommended it and it is BRILLIANT.'
This is an interesting story of someone who
managed to reverse the damage done by years of
smoking.
My reader told me:
'Last March I had a spirometry test which showed
my lung function age to be 89 (Ihave COPD). I
retired in August last year and decided, as I had
more time and less stress that I would try and
improve my lung function. I decided I would do
this by a: buying a salt pipe and b: trying to
practice yoga and yoga breathing on a more
regular basis.'
And the result of this?
'On tuesday of this week I had another spirometry
test and my lung function age is now 71!'
That's pretty amazing. Her lungs are getting
younger, purely from this natural remedy.
She continues:
'Can you imagine how I felt - I was told the
damage done by my 40 years of smoking could
not be undone and the best I could hope for was
to remain stable. I cannot tell you how pleased I
am, I intend to carry on with both the salt pipe and
the yoga and will be quite happy if I can just
maintain this improvement. By the way my
chronological age is 60 so I desperately needed
this improvement.'

So good news all round this week. It's not all
doom and gloom. Forget about the financial crisis,
we've got people curing back pain and others
reversing lung damage! Marvellous!
If you've got a 'good news' story you'd like to
share with other Good Life Letter readers, drop
me an email.
Oh, and finally, look out for this Sunday's email -
I've got a very exciting offer for you, but you'll
need to be quick off the mark.
